Pay: $120,000 - $140,000
Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00AM – 4:30PM/5PM
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science Degree required
- NYS Radiologic Technologist license
- 5 years supervisory experience in Diagnostic Imaging and/or Cardiology
- AHRA Certification preferred
Responsibilities:
- Reports to COO and supervises CT Scanning, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, Cardiology, Radiology-Diagnostic, Interventional Radiology, Peripheral Vascular, Women’s Diagnostic Services
- Under the direction of the Vice President and Site Administrator, establish and maintain quality and service for patients of the Diagnostic Imaging / Cardiopulmonary / Scheduling Service departments
- Plan, direct, coordinate, and evaluate the diagnostic imaging and cardiopulmonary activities consistent with organizational management practices and in compliance with established organization and department policies, procedures, standards, and regulations
- Serve on Corporate Compliance Committee, Radiation Safety Committee, and other committees as assigned
- Responsible for day-to-day operations of all sections of Diagnostic Imaging, Cardiac Rehabilitation, RT, Cardiopulmonary, and Scheduling Services including clinical outcomes, financial outcomes, customer satisfaction outcomes, safety of all patients and staff, staff competency, recruitment and retention, and maintenance of collaborative environment with supervisors and staff
- Promote development and enhancement of department related technologies and systems in order to enhance efficiency, revenue, and both customer and staff satisfaction
- Utilize best practice in recommendations
- Develop or change department policies and/or procedures
- Implement new programs and/or technologies compatible with department / organizational goals in conjunction with department physicians, department staff, and best practices
- Collaborate with other departments to assume seamless transitions
- Seek opportunities to expand department services
- Routinely meet with current and potential ordering providers to ensure service needs are met or exceeded
- Educate providers on options
- Routinely focuses on revenue and expenses
- Ensure patient safety is paramount in all areas of responsibility
- Utilize best practice to ensure patient safety and infection prevention
- Collaborate with other departments to achieve above goals
