Assistant Project Manager - Air Emissions Testing

COMPLIANCE SERVICES & TESTING performs industrial air emission testing using the applicable reference methods for permit compliance testing. CST offers growth potential and stability in the environmental testing field.

CST has an opening for an Environmental Technician to assist with emission testing projects on industrial sources. This position, based in Albuquerque, NM, requires overnight travel, overtime, fieldwork, data entry, and maintaining equipment. An opportunity for advancement exists for the individual that takes initiative to learn, and problem solve.

Requirements/Responsibilities

• College Degree in chemistry, biology, geology, mathematics, engineering, or environmental science
• Laboratory/Instrument Calibration experience
• Professional verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency using Microsoft Word and Excel
• Support equipment maintenance, and repair
• Mechanical skills involving pneumatic plumbing and low voltage electrical
• Regular overnight travel plus overtime (travel 2-3 nights/week and avg 5-7 hours/week ot)
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• Occasional lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
• Comfortable working at heights and in manlift
• Willingness to work in the varying outdoor elements. Jobsite conditions may vary from one job site to another with changing weather conditions
• Compliance with Safety, Drug and Alcohol Policies (including no marijuana) plus background check

Compensation is dependent upon education and experience.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
