Responsibilities

          Leadership

  • Lead the talent acquisition process while staying abreast of new business development opportunities within CTI's growing list of projects.
  • Lead talent update meetings, and process-oriented meetings aimed at continually improving the talent acquisition process.
  • Format resumes with CTI branding having exceptional quality to present consultants to our clients in the best possible light.
  • Demonstrate flexibility to identify candidates that align with CTI’s vision of the ideal recruitment process.
  • Handle multiple tasks simultaneously, identify priorities, and work independently, while maintaining the insight to understand when it is necessary to reach out for answers.
  • Negotiate with employee prospects to ensure that equitable compensation is offered to provide win-win value for the client, CTI and the consultant.
  • Demonstrate sound decision-making to identify when to employ outside staffing agencies for hard-to-place roles.

            Recruitment

  • Drive the talent acquisition process by single-handedly performing all aspects of the recruiting process (writing job descriptions, prospecting, selecting candidates, interviewing, etc.)
  • Identify top consultants within the company and create paths for transitioning work from one assignment to the next for these preferred consultants.
  • Combine clients’ brief job specifications with existing job descriptions and knowledge of CTI client requirements to craft meaningful job descriptions that attract new talent.
  • Consult with hiring manager to refine job descriptions and requirements to zero in on the perfect candidate for a given role.
  • Maintain relationships with outside talent acquisition channels to ensure that more than one path toward finding talent is open at any given time.

            Process Improvement

  • Document the talent acquisition process for presentation to top management, to assure the process is communicated to the organization.
  • Act as a Change Agent for the Talent Acquisition process, challenge the status quo at all times, continually experimenting with new methods to improve the process to achieve optimal results.
  • Act as a Super Admin for the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), and ensure that users are trained. Apply ATS refinements and create custom queries to obtain and publish up-to-date ATS information.
  • Provide metrics and reports at meetings with Top Management to report on ATS database growth and create a dashboard that helps hiring managers generate ideas for how to prioritize actions and further optimize the talent acquisition process.
  • Continually grow the candidate list in the ATS and screen the names in order to have an up-to-date list of top available talent in FDA-regulated quality consulting and validation.
  • Prepare tactical weekly reports to identify high-potential leads for specific, current job openings.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 2 to 5 years of previous experience recruiting.
  • Superior communication skills, especially the ability to converse with candidates and prospective clients with diverse backgrounds over the phone.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.) as well as use of ATS.
  • Ability to manage applicant relationships and work well with CTI subject-matter experts.
  • Passionate about continuous improvement and service-oriented.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working in a professional consulting firm.
  • Experience recruiting for highly-specialized, technical roles.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical and medical device industries.
  • Experience recruiting technical professionals with Engineering or Life Sciences degrees.
  • Experience using electronic networking tools such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Indeed.
  • Willingness to perform data deep dives to ensure the database is current, and candidate profiles are catalogued in a way to assure consultants are readily identifiable for the types of roles CTI hires most frequently.
  • Willingness to continue the recruiting process to build a growing list of current, qualified candidates to present in the event that a position becomes available in the future.
  • Experience Developing relationships with outside recruiters, tool subscriptions, etc.
