We provide engineering validation services and FDA regulatory affairs services to life science companies across the United States. What You’ll Do

As a Sales Associate for our Engineering & Validation Services department, you will be integral in building and leveraging industry relationships to close business and help achieve company revenue goals. You will have quarterly and annual booking goals. To be successful in this role, you will have a proven track record in selling strategic, multi-product consulting services.

 

You’ll Be Responsible To

  • Act as an outside Business Development professional for the company’s consulting services.
  • Effectively navigate market trends to determine and act on appropriate sales strategies.
  • Build strategic plans for your clients that focus on gaining new engineering validation projects. You will consistently build new corporate relationships and continue to nurture existing client relationships.
  • Understand our unique value proposition and equate our unique services to our customers to provide real, effective project solutions.
  • Work cross collaboratively to propose solutions and close deals.
  • Delight clients by delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Be a team player by sharing knowledge and open dialogue with peers to ensure ongoing education.
  • Coordinate with management and marketing to assure strategic initiatives and sales metrics are being met for your specific business line.
  • Work with CRM software to track sales and outreach activity. Knowledge of HubSpot is a plus.

  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to speak with a variety of stakeholders including corporate leaders, pharmaceutical engineers, pharmaceutical regulatory affairs managers, manufacturing quality assurance leaders and pharmaceutical/medical device executives.
  • You are a self-starter. You like to roll up your sleeves, take initiative, think creatively, work independently, and be productive.
  • You are results driven, understand how to effectively navigate the sales cycle and selling environment, and most importantly, how to EXCEED quarterly and annual sales quotas!
  • You possess a high degree of integrity and business ethics.
  • You are mindful of how your actions impact the company bottom line and seek opportunities to increase revenue while simultaneously being cost conscious.

Your Qualifications

  • PROVEN track record of success – specifically exceeding sales goals on a quarterly and annual basis.
  • Demonstrated understanding of pharmaceutical / med device manufacturing, regulatory standards and practices, and FDA validation compliance required.
  • At least 5 years’ sales experience working in regulatory consulting services, lab testing and quality services, clinical trial support or medical device/pharma manufacturing sales.
  • Proficiency in drafting clear, concise technical proposals to support pharmaceutical / med device manufacturing, and FDA validation compliance projects.
  • Prior experience independently building and managing successful relationships with Pharma/Biotech key decision makers in a sales and support capacity.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business or related field preferred.
  • Industry contacts and a book of business is a plus.

 

Who You’ll Report To

Report to our company President, and you will work closely with our Marketing, Consulting, Human Resources and Accounting departments.

  • Location: This position can be headquartered remotely with travel requirements outlined below
  • Travel: Requires regular travel to existing and prospective pharma/biotech/med-device companies
  • Exemption status: Full time, exempt
