```Job Summary```

Will travel up to 3 hours from Henderson KY

On call position, Must be available for both days and nights
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our healthcare team. As an LPN, you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the well-being and comfort of our patients while adhering to all medical protocols and standards.

```Responsibilities```
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare team
- Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patient condition
- Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures, such as cardiac catheterization
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Provide health coaching and education to patients and their families
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation using electronic health record systems like Athenahealth
- Assist in the coordination of patient care, including referrals to specialists and follow-up appointments
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for patients

```Experience```
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- Valid LPN license in [state]
- Proven experience in a similar healthcare setting, such as a nursing home or hospital
- Proficiency in medical documentation and electronic health record systems
- Knowledge of common medical procedures, including botulinum toxin treatment, dermal fillers, and cardiac catheterization
- Familiarity with ICD-9 coding system for accurate diagnosis coding
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
- Ability to provide compassionate care while maintaining professionalism

Pay: From $35.00 per hour
