Description

Human services agency seeking motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide community residential services for individuals with disabilities.


Duties:

• On-site evaluation of acute medical concerns and coordination of necessary treatment and follow up

• Development, training and monitoring of Individual medical protocols

• Provides MAP training and oversight of Agency MAP compliance

• Serves as MAP Consultant to Agency as needed

• Provides general health/medical and individualized staff training

• Communicate/collaborate with members of Clinical/Medical Team and Program Directors/supervisors regarding individual concerns and general medical/health status

• Liaison to community health professionals, hospitals/rehabilitation facilities, families/guardians, DDS/MRC Service Coordinators and medical personnel

Requirements

  • Hold an active RN state professional license
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Qualifying Criminal Background Check
  • Certified as Medication Administration Program, (MAP), Trainer 
  • CPR/First Aid Trainer preferred 
  • Experience with adults with developmental disabilities, acquired brain injury or related service preferred 
  • Strong communication skills working with interdisciplinary teams
