Comprehensive Urologic Care (CUC) has been treating patients in Chicago’s Northwest suburbs and surrounding area for over 25 years. While remaining an independent, private practice, CUC is affiliated with the Advocate Aurora and AMITA hospital systems in the area: Advocate Aurora Good Shepherd Hospital, Advocate Aurora Sherman Hospital, and AMITA St. Alexius Medical Center. The Accountant / Bookkeeping Specialist is responsible for supporting the overall operations of financial processes for the practice through transactional processing, administration, and reconciliation of financial data pertaining to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll and Purchasing.

Essential Qualifications:

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to effectively manipulate data with a high level of accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Confidentiality

Other Requirements Include:

• Three years of relevant work experience
• Experience managing full cycle of payroll processing
• Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
• Advanced proficiency with MS Office, particularly with Excel
• Familiarity with Bookkeeping and Payroll software systems
• Experience with General Ledger posting
• Advanced financial analysis skills
• Knowledge of HIPAA standards
• Experience in the health care industry is preferred
