General description
Join the Fiscal Management team as a Financial Reporting Analyst (Accountant VI)! Work involves Providing guidance to state agencies in resolving accounting and reporting issues with their general ledger. Research Governmental Accounting Standards Board literature to determine the accounting impact to the state and translating that impact to the agencies through the Annual Financial Report reporting requirements, which may include changes to statewide accounting procedures and systems. The candidate must have the ability to learn new concepts quickly and apply knowledge appropriately in a highly active environment with ever-changing circumstances. Salary is contingent upon qualifications. CPA employees in the same job classification, if selected, will be laterally transferred with no increase in salary.
