Job Purpose/Summary
The Risk Reporting Analyst will report directly to the Risk Manager and will have the responsibility to support Enterprise Risk Management reporting requirements. This role will transform business requirements into technical solutions that efficiently enable analytics capabilities to be deployed in support of business and strategic objectives of the enterprise. The Analyst will be responsible for creating reports in a timely accurate manner as well as analyzing the data for trends indicating potential risks or opportunities.
Duties and responsibilities
- Prepare regular and time sensitive analytics, visualizations, and reports for risk manager and senior management.
- Synthesize and communicate complex risk exposures and metrics.
- Analyze, implement, and automate underlying data, data flows, and data controls to enhance processes and efficiency.
- Work with risk managers, business units, and tech to design and build analytical applications.
- Streamline reports to ensure efficiency and sustainability.
- Maintain and update risk training materials, job aides, and procedure documentation.
- Support the improvement of the Risk and Control Matrix (RCM) pursuant to Compu-Link business objectives, regulatory requirements and other industry risk and control frameworks.
- Facilitate and support quarterly Risk and Control assessments.
- Maintain and monitor data from Quality Control audits.
- Create a Data Library: Create and maintain the data library, leveraging data cube warehouse.
- Evaluate systems used for reporting to identify if there are methods to better automate the output of information.
- Responsible for centralized monitoring of risk including reviewing MAP responses, monitoring deadlines, and tracking issues to resolution.
- Maintain and monitor data on vendor performance and business/vendor scorecard adherence.
- Apply Compu-Link’s BI policies and best practices in ways that deliver powerful and robust analytics products that allow enhanced end user experience and ease of use capabilities.
- Participate in user acceptance testing for technology enhancements.
- Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, or other relevant area, along with 2 years of relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- 2 years of risk or equivalent experience in risk management, governance, or similar role is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and other Microsoft programs.
- Prior experience working with large data sets and data visualization.
- Basic knowledge of PowerBI preferred, but not required.
- Critical thinking skills with the ability to independently solve problems with data.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Able to effectively present information and respond to questions in both one-on-one situations and group meetings.
- Respects differences and values the diversity of those on the team.
- Demonstrates the ability to work remotely in an effective fashion.
- Prior mortgage servicing industry experience is a plus, but not required.

Working Conditions: Work is performed onsite. This role routinely uses standard office equipment and video conferencing applications.
