Test Technician Electronics

Job Summary:
Computer Conversions Corporation designs and manufactures specialized synchro/resolver/LVDT electronics and position sensors. We are seeking a skilled Test Technician to join our team.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of VME, PCI, PCIe, CPCI, CPCIe, XMC and PC104 required.
• Able to use tools PCI tree and PCI-Z, and tools for flash-burning FPGA's.
• Familiarity with C , and LabView
• Familiarity with DSP type processors
• Familiar with Windows 10 and some DOS, LabView a plus
• Flash burning FPGA's a plus. Some knowledge of C / C# and or LabView a plus
• Full usage of Oscilloscope, Digital Voltmeters, Ratio Bridges etc
• Following test procedures and test plans, and recommend changes as applicable
• Tear down and set-up test bench applicable to differing products and jobs
• Able to read and understand schematics and assembly drawings
• Troubleshoot Analog and Digital circuits on failed units
• Log and submit anticipated changes to assembly and inspection for rework
• Record findings of rework and disposition procedures for fails
• Able to perform, and as required, enhance FAI test reports
• Production Bench Testing Analog and Digital Converter products
• Tag and Report Failure Symptoms on non-functional units

Experience:

• Proficiency in working with PCBs (Printed Circuit Boards)
• Experience with precision measuring instruments and quality inspection processes
• Familiarity with calipers for precise measurements
• Knowledge of test automation tools and processes
• Ability to use hand tools effectively for various tasks
• Mechanical knowledge to understand product components and functions
