Sr. Solutions Architect - Networking

CDI is seeking an experienced Senior Network Solutions Architect to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex network solutions for our clients. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a Network Architect or a Solutions Architect role, with a strong background in Cisco technologies such as route/switch, security, SD-WAN, and SASE. Additional expertise in Palo Alto, Fortinet, Zscaler, and/or Arista will be considered a plus. As a Senior Network Solutions Architect, you will collaborate with clients, engineers, and project managers to develop innovative and scalable network architectures that meet the unique requirements of our customers. 

Responsibilities: 

• Work closely with clients to understand their business objectives, technical requirements, and network infrastructure needs. 
• Design and architect end-to-end network solutions that align with industry best practices, security standards, and client specifications. 
• Develop comprehensive network architecture documentation to support sales opportunities, including diagrams, technical specifications, and implementation plans. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, project managers, and sales teams, to ensure successful solution delivery and customer satisfaction. 
• Evaluate emerging technologies, industry trends, and vendor offerings to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement within our network solutions. 
• Support sales and pre-sales teams in a collaborative setting with the goals of exceptional customer satisfaction and maximizing sales performance. 
• Participate in the development and creation of tools, techniques, and intellectual property to support technical selling efforts. 
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in networking technologies, certifications, and industry standards. 

Requirements: 

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Network Architect role 
• Prior Pre-sales Solution Architecture experience is highly desirable. 
• Strong expertise in Cisco networking technologies, including route/switch, security, WLAN, SD-WAN, and SASE. 
• Proficiency with network design and architecture principles, protocols, and best practices. 
• Experience with Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Arista technologies is highly desirable. 
• In-depth knowledge of network security principles and technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, ZTNA, NAC, and authentication mechanisms. 
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex network requirements and propose effective solutions. 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 
• Cisco certifications such as CCIE or CCNP are preferred. 
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. 
• Willingness to travel occasionally to client sites for meetings and presentations.
