Title: Process and Data Analyst

Summary:

CEI s financial services client is adding a highly motivated Process and Data Analyst to their team based out of Cincinnati, OH. You will be tasked with managing day-to-day data operations including the collection, summarization, and analysis of data to support process improvements and the development and implementation of best practices. This role involves identifying and addressing data-related issues, providing solutions, and effectively communicating recommendations to enhance operational efficiencies. The selected candidate will need to demonstrate curiosity and an understanding of useful data points, beyond those pre-identified for reporting. The focus will be on retail data, process improvement, and supply chain data.

Job at a glance:

• 8-month contract
• $40-$45/hr. W2
• Downtown Cincinnati (Hybrid schedule - Monday through Wednesday in the office)
• W2 only, No C2C.

Responsibilities:

• Develop skills in key technical areas to support analytics capabilities and mentor other process specialists.
• Identify, communicate, and resolve any data-related issues or recommendations with the business owner and senior process specialists.
• Create and maintain management capabilities and processes that support continuous improvement aligned with the company's strategy.
• Develop and maintain store and department savings estimate models and databases.
• Generate reports on in-stock inventory, processes, and ordering/buying trends, particularly focusing on discrepancies between actual orders and system suggestions in retail environments.
• Perform data cleansing and manage data in Azure/SQL Databases.
• Export and summarize data from corporate/division systems as required.
• Travel to store or other off-site locations as needed.

Required Skills:

• 2 years of analytical experience or equivalent.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, Macros, Charts), and PowerPoint.
• Proficient with SQL, Power BI, and either R or Python.
• Strong analytical, multitasking, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and influence associates to achieve objectives.
• Understanding of financial statements and data/information retrieval programs.
• Clear communication, grit, and adaptability.

Desired Skills:

• Associate degree in a related field or relevant experience.
• Experience with Oracle, Business Objects, Essbase, Power Automate, MDX.
• Familiarity with Lean Tools and Methodology, Store Operations, and financial, data, and statistical analysis.
