ComResource is looking for a Data Wrangler.

- Manage and monitor large-scale ETL processes for patient/pharmacy related data
- Delivers data acquisition, transformations, cleansing, conversion, compression, and loading of data into a variety of data models
- Build and enhance the ETL codebase for added efficiency and capacity
- Work on normalization and performance tuning analytics processes
- Monitor key infrastructure components such as databases, SFTP servers, and other parts of the stack
- Proficiency in at least one of the scripting languages: Perl, Python or others (ideally in the context of data processing or data science)
- Perform data discoveries to understand data formats, source systems, file sizes, etc. This will include engaging with internal and external business partners in the discovery process
- Experience with ETL and/or other Big Data processes
- Experience with a variety of data modeling practices for OLTP and OLAP
- Expert level proficiency in SQL
- Ability to perform complex data analysis with large volumes of data, ideally with MSSQL or PostgreSQL and batch loading processes
- Understanding Server, Network, and Hosting Environments
- Some Web or RESTful API experience preferred
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent
- 5 years of engineering experience in a professional environment, but skill fit is a higher priority to us than just work experience
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages
- Python, MSSQL, and Hadoop experience highly preferred
- Comfortable working with open-source technologies
- Experience with RESTful web services a plus
- Experience with some form of web developments a plus
