Job Title: Senior Product Owner

Location: Remote

About This Role:

The primary goal of the Senior Product Owner role is to drive the strategy and roadmap of the product manager so that it can be executed. The key activity is to create, manage, maintain and make visible the product backlog and burndown (progress). The Product Owner must be available to the development team during the SDLC to answer any questions team members have regarding the customer’s view of how they’re implementing a product feature.

What You'll Do:

  • Execute the product vision (of the product manager).

  • Partner with product managers, product owners, sales, stakeholders and customers to inform the product vision, strategy, roadmap, features, and prioritization.

  • Manage SDLC via Agile while continuously reviewing business needs, refining priorities, outlining milestones and deliverables, and identifying opportunities and risks.

  • Work with cross-functional teams and various stakeholders, including analytics, design / user experience design, engineering, and user research to drive current and new product feature deliverables.

  • Turn data insights into features with actionable outcomes to the customer.

  • Translate product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including writing epics, user stories, and acceptance test criteria.

  • Work with project managers to prioritize and maintain the sprint backlog.

  • Develop and maintains appropriate tracking and reporting of product feature performance post-launch to evaluate future investment.

  • Actively participate in daily scrum meetings, planning, reviews, retrospectives and run demos.

  • Work closely with the scrum masters to remove blockers and maintain fast paced development.

  • Support the development team with any questions they may have.

What You'll Need:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience including exposure to product and development teams, UX design, Agile principles, and client facing work preferable in the Broadcast/Media Advertising Technology space.

  • Proficiency in creating process workflows to define the logic and flow of a solution or user experience.

  • Proactive, self-starter with excellent project management skills and ability to lead projects and manage multiple tasks effectively.

  • Preferable experience in working with big data, analytics, specialized in media/ad technologies.

  • Ability to quickly understand a specific client domain and identify the trends and opportunities in that space.

  • Proven track record of delivering data driven solutions with a customer-first mindset.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms.

  • Experience in working with remote and highly distributed teams.
