Description :
The insuranceclerk will be responsible for providing administrative support toinsurance agents and customers.
They will performa variety of tasks including data entry filing answering phones andresponding to customerinquiries
Responsibilities :
1.Process claims generated by the computer system on a dailybasis.
2. Complete claims that lack requiredinformation by researching appropriate sources ofinformation.
3. Enter all remittances into thecomputer system and apply them to the appropriate patient andcarrier. Notify the Insurance Supervisor of overpayments andpayments in error for followup.
4. Followup onrejected claims and resubmit or bill the patient ifapplicable.
6. Maintain uptodatefiles.
