Responsibilities
Position Summary
The DevOps Director is responsible for leading the design, build, and operational management of highly secure and scalable software for the business and works to guarantee the reduction or removal of bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the DevOps department and Application Development department as a whole. Additionally, the DevOps Director promotes, documents, and implements systems infrastructure best practices, building tools that allow the department to develop and deploy quality software. This colleague also creates tools that leverage productivity amplifiers such as code generators and automated scripts for scalable deployment.
The Details
- Create tools and automated workflow capabilities in order to enable the application development teams to test and promote code across the IS department
- Build, configure, and maintain the frameworks, tools, and systems that enable optimal performance of the organizations' software
- Lead the design and implementation of real-time monitoring for relevant systems
- Work hand-in-hand with the Application Development and Operations teams as it relates to all technical Work to reduce or eliminate any repetitive or manual tasks
- Work with DevOps personnel in improving health and performance issues of Concentra software systems
- Collaborate with the QA department in creating solution designs, capacity planning, and performance optimization

Qualifications
Education/Credentials
- High School Diploma or College degree from an accredited college or university preferred or equivalent education and experience.
- In lieu of undergraduate degree, the ratio is 1:1 meaning one year of college equals one year of work experience and vice versa
Job-related Experience
- Customarily has at least 10 years of combined IT experience, composed of 5 or more years of hands-on development experience, 3 or more years of management experience, and 3 or more years of DevOps experience
- Experience with large heterogenous enterprise environments
- Experience with cloud-based architectures and solutions
- Experience with AWS or Microsoft Azure cloud platforms
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Experience with Healthcare preferred
