Concentra, one of the largest health care companies in the nation, is looking for a Nurse Practitioner devoted to providing an exceptional patient experience. This position provides an opportunity to operate with an independent nature and with a keen focus on quality care.
LOCATION: Quad Cities region (Clinics in Moline, Davenport, Riverdale)
HOURS: Most shifts are M-F, 8 to 5; **No weekends, no call, no holidays**
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND CONDITIONS:
- 100% outpatient Clinic environment
- Occupational Medicine/Workplace Health focused
- Urgent Care services offered to the public
- OnSite Digital xray; OnSite Physical Therapy department
- Multi-clinician team comprised of Physicians, Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners robust support staff
- Utilize Allscripts Touchworks EMR system
EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a related setting, preferably occupational medicine, urgent care, or an emergency medicine setting
- Active and unrestricted IA or IL license
- Graduate of an accredited PA or FNP program of an accredited university
- Board Certification
- Must be able to see patients ages 2 and older
- Proficiency in administering preventative pre-employment and maintenance employment physicals
- Skilled in interpretation of xray results
- Skilled in the treatment of minor injuries; including procedures such as suturing, i&d, foreign body removals
- Required prior to start date, if not already certified:
- *FMCSA NRCME (we provide this CME to you if not already certified)
- *DEA & dispensing license
