What are the responsibilities and job description for the Social Worker position at Concentric Methods?
Cape Fox Shared Services and Concentric Methods LLC is accepting resumes for a Social Worker to work as part of a multidisciplinary, professional team to ensure the safety and security regulated microbial agents at the NIH. Specifically, the social worker conducts behavioral health assessments, interviews with program participants and other administrative Biosurety related functions.
Performs duties as described below in accordance with OMS policies and procedures:
- Conduct behavioral health screening for NIH Biosurety Program Participants
- Conduct Biosurety program interviews as assigned by the DOHS Biosurety Program Psychologist
- Participate in personnel liability activities and provide needed support
- Provide needed support to Biosurety program psychologist
- Make referrals to and confer with the DOHS program psychologist or NIH Employee Assistance program as appropriate
- Assist the select agent and or Biosurety Program Manager
- Be familiar with the application of workforce resiliency principles or receive training in this area
- Support the program activities in other technical/ administrative areas within the scope of this task

Job Requirements:
- Education: Master’s Degree in social work or equivalent from a 2 year course of study at an accredited university
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience conducting intake and/ or diagnostic interviews using various diagnostic methods or tools
- Certification: Basic Cardiac Life Support through the American Heart Association
- Strong written and oral communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Must be able to travel for training
- Must be able to perform the task at NIH locations having high and maximum containment laboratory personnel (e.g. Hamilton, MT, Baltimore, MD, Ft. Detrick MD etc.)
- Must be able to receive and maintain a favorable background check
- Must adhere to HIPAA, Privacy Act guidelines and be able to perform work in a confidential manner.
- Self-motivated with minimal oversight.
- Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
- Ensuring adherence to all company safety rules and SOPs in area of responsibility
- Rectifying unsafe actions and/or conditions immediately
- Participates in maintaining safe work environment by sharing and participating in all safety related meetings, training, etc.

Salary : $64,600 - $81,800
