What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grants Subject Matter Expert (SME) position at Concept Plus?
CP is seeking a Grants Management SME to support a portfolio of grants solutions.
Primary Responsibilities:
- The Candidate will provide overall leadership, vision, and strategy for the grants portion of the program and its portfolio of grants projects and systems.
Required Qualifications:
- BS / BA in either a STEM or Business Field
- NACI
- GPCI or NGMA certification
- 10 Years with at least 5 years leading large scale, complex, grants management programs.
- 3-5 years of hands-on grants management support to the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Grant Solutions (GS) programs
- Demonstrated knowledge and skill in all areas of grants and program management policy including forecast, announcement, application receipt, business review, peer and program review, funding decision, funding commitment, notice of award development, funding obligation, award, and post award.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the specific grants and program management business processes and skill in supporting those processes including: forecast, announcement, application receipt, business review, peer and program review, funding decision, funding commitment, notice of award development, funding obligation, award, post award including amendments, program monitoring, progress reporting including Federal Financial reporting and Program Progress reporting, Freedom of Information requests, program audit support, closeout, and records management.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with the HHS systems supporting grants processing.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated skills managing billions of dollars of annual grant awards and tens of thousands of annual award transactions for at least 50 national grants programs in a number of cabinet-level departments and independent agencies.
