A successful candidate will have the proven ability of managing all phases of commercial construction. This position will provide leadership and management oversight for Conco Construction’s diverse project portfolio. The right candidate will feel at home in Conco Construction’s fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with project managers to deliver profitable results
- Manage all phases of commercial construction to include but not limited to site prep, framing, steel building erections, concrete, masonry, and finishes
- Assist in building and updating project schedule
- Mentor and train craftsman and interns
- Manage and interpret all construction documents
- Effectively manage all self-performing functions, sub-contractors, and owners
- Responsible for communicating with owners, architects, and vendors
Basic Requirements:
- Must have the ability to manage all phases of commercial construction
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations
- Ability to effectively interact with all members of the organization and work with cross-functional teams
- Effective time management and prioritization skills
- Demonstrated effective communication skills, both written and oral
Preferred Skills/ Experience:
- Experience with a project scheduling software system
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science and Construction Management
