BASIC PURPOSE:
Enters and processes invoices from Concord sites.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Verifies daily Yardi deposits for operating account balances; verifies invoices for accuracy; checks cash balances for releasing check runs; runs, logs and mails checks on a regular basis; researches past due balances and requests for payments; processes credit memos and scans all checks and backup into Content Manager.
2. Responsible for all distributions and management fees to general partners; processes mortgages, loans, and bond-related fees; cuts checks for bank transfers and other requests from the Property Accountants; processes water intrusion, real estate taxes, filing fees, annual audits and insurance and requests funding when needed from Property Accountants.
3. Responsible for cutting biweekly checks from Concord sweeps once cash is verified;
disburses checks to Concord Accounting department and processes monthly recurring payments.
4. Verifies resident dispositions in Yardi PayScan when originals arrive; cuts and mails checks and enters any returned dispositions into the return disposition log on ccNet.
OTHER DUTIES MAY INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
1. Processes and files Lease-Up invoices and verifies invoices for proper Lease-Up G/L coding.
2. Other duties as assigned including assisting in the 1099 process; training new employees; assisting with special projects at year-end and assisting Property Accountants and auditors as needed for audits.
Pay for this position is commensurate with experience of candidate.
- High school diploma plus some additional knowledge of business and accounting functions required.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel also required.
- Knowledge of Yardi Accounting system preferred.
- Minimum one year of office/customer service experience required.
- Prior Accounts Payable experience preferred.
