Test Engineer II

About the Role -
The Test Engineer role, position offers an exciting opportunity to help support our enterprise claims processing system. You must be detail-oriented with great communication skills, with willingness to learn about the Healthcare industry. Candidates should also be able to effectively multi-task while remaining flexible to changes in priorities and deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Analyzing user needs and test software solutions using agile methodology
- Creating test models for release testing (plans, data, and scripts) including the identification, collection and/or creation of test data
- Leading co-ordination and execution of release testing as appropriate to determine time estimates and schedules for testing efforts
- Defining Release Test Plans and criteria for user acceptance including entry/exit criteria
- Developing, updating, and maintaining quality testing standards and procedures.
- Following standard testing methodology frameworks, testing processes as a standard
- Co-originating testing specific release activities
- Determining and meeting time estimates and schedules for testing efforts
- Creating test models for release (plans, data, and scripts) and participating in structured demos and peer reviews
- Participating in the coordination and execution of release testing
- Identifying defects and questionable functionality; manage defects through to closure
Requirements
- Have a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent working experience
- Have a minimum of 3 years of experience as QA Analyst
- Have experience creation of test plans, test estimates, test schedules and implementing test strategies
- Have a solid experience in writing SQL statements for data validations
- Have solid experience in Database and Batch job testing
- Have working experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of software development life cycle(s) (SDLC).
- Have experience with Test Management tools, building test plans and cases using tools like JIRA, Xray and Azure DevOps (VSTS)
- Have working experience in Test Automation and EDI, HIPAA, PHI Testing
- Have experience in Claims, Eligibility, Membership and Enrollment process and Medicaid
