What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sheet metal helpers position at Condustrial Inc?
We are urgently hiring Sheet metal helpers.
· 1st shift: 6:00am-4:30pm, Monday-Thursday
· Ability to work in teams of 4-5 people in different areas
· Lay-out duct for installation and look ahead for smooth work flow
· Understand and follow proper safety instructions
· Spot and correct unsafe situations
· Sketch fitting for duct connections
· Ability to set HVAC equipment with cranes, boom trucks, lulls, and forklifts
· Perform Quality Control to ensure that all HVAC inline Mechanical Devices are installed according to Manufacturer's Instructions
JOB REQUIREMENTS/SPECIAL SKILLS:
· Requires working in conditions of varying heat and cold and where noise levels are at or above 90 decibels
· Ability to read duct work and Architectural drawings
· Positive attitude
· Knowledge of signals for rigging
· Ability to understand all aspects of HVAC installation
· Knowledge of Welding and Fabrication of supports for equipment
· Knowledge of Air flow of systems: Supply, Return, Exhaust
· Be able to continue job if Superintendent is not available
Must have good references, reliable transportation.
Must be willing to submit to a drug test and a criminal background check.
