What are the responsibilities and job description for the Highway Fence Installers position at Condustrial?
We are looking for Guardrail / Fence Installers for immediate work in Spartanburg, SC. You will be responsible for installing guard railing for roads and interstates, and fences and other materials at job sites, safely and efficiently, according to customer specifications.
Full-time hours, Monday - Friday. Some Saturdays will be required. Will typically meet at the shop in the mornings and travel up to 30-45 minutes to job sites. Some nights and out-of-town may be required (per diem provided when applicable).
$16.00/ hr. Temp to hire will receive $300 after 80 hours!!! Upon client hire, you can potentially earn an additional $900!!!!
Essential Functions:
- Prepping/ loading materials onto the truck.
- Dig fence post holes.
- Use hand tools.
- Remove materials, and tools and clean up the job site and truck/yard. Operate forklift, and skid-steer (will train).
Requirements:
- Must be 18 .
- Must have a valid Driver's License.
- Must have a satisfactory driving record (10-year MVR).
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen and is willing to submit to random drug testing.
- Ability to follow instructions and follow safety guidelines.
- Capable of operating hand tools.
- Experience operating a forklift/skid steer is a plus.
- Be able to work well in a team environment where situations and demands can change daily.
Physical Demands:
- Lift and move materials up to 80 lbs.
- Walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
- Reach with hands and arms.
- Climb a ladder Stand for extended periods.
- Wear safety equipment
