Essential duties and responsibilities:

Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Follow documented job-specific work instructions.
- Ensure the correct procedure is pulled up on the production system screen while performing the injection operation.
- Maintain mix level in the hopper, prepare to die for injection, inject, and remove part.
- Visually inspect parts and identify defects.
- Remove die line from parts.
- Load parts into containers (saggers) according to the procedure.
- Complete data input to the production system using a handheld scanner.
- Maintain required documentation and paperwork.
- Produce quality ceramic cores, meeting production goals and quality requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, quality inspectors and fellow operators.
- Assure proper completion of end-of-shift duties including production reporting, required TPM, and 6S activity.
- Know and follow all company safety rules and regulations.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Strong fine motor skills with ability to handle fragile parts
- Use of precision handheld air grinder and measuring devices (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent attendance & dependability a must
Requirements:
- Must be located or in the process of moving to the Cleveland/Willoughby, OH area.
- Must provide authorization to work in the United States.
- Must be 18 .
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen upon office visit.
- Willing to submit to random drug testing.
- Ability to follow instructions and follow safety guidelines.
- Ability to stand entire 8-hour shift (plus overtime, when required).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. multiple times per shift.
- Close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: viewing a computer terminal; reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.
- Working in a manufacturing environment.
Equipment Used:
Injection presses (high & low pressure), precision measuring tools, computer, handheld scanner, magnifying loop.
