1st Shift (6a-4pm) 2nd Shift (4pm-2:30am)
Pay range $20-$24 based on experience
Responsibilities-
- MUST HAVE LASER EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED
- The laser Operator is responsible for the operation and determining of the program be used by the laser to cut sheet metal for machinery and parts.
- Determines program to be used by the laser cutter by using computer
- Ability to read and understand blueprints/drawings
- Conducts inspections of parts electronically and physically to ensure quality
- Monitors scrap and rework to maximize materials usage
- Knowledgeable of and the ability to operate Bystronic laser equipment 3K/6K Carbon dioxide.
- Ability to perform daily maintenance on the laser
- Ability to load and unload material using overhead cranes or forklifts
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Housekeeping in area
- Follow all safety rules and regulations
- Complete understanding of sheet metal materials types, thickness, i.e., gauge, decimal, fractional and metric to include
- Ability to work with limited supervision
