Lead Maintenance Tech

The Maintenance Lead is responsible for assisting with all maintenance issues including installs, repairs, and equipment transfers within the plant. The position is also responsible for supervising and managing the maintenance department on an as needed basis. Must have experience in relative maintenance field.

• Assist with all plant maintenance to ensure the plant is run as efficient as possible
• Coordinate and perform general maintenance and housekeeping activities
• Troubleshoot problems
• Organize schedule for preventative maintenance and update system with repair information
• Prepare for scheduled shutdowns
• Scheduling work orders for repair.
  

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma / GED
• 5 years related work experience
• Ability to operate company equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Knowledge of plumbing and water treatment
• Ability to follow direction and standard operating procedures
• Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Familiar with all current health and safety regulations
• Ability to work alone and with a team
• Ability to speak and comprehend basic English
• Ability to stand and walk frequently; twist, bend, and reach on a regular basis
• Work with caustic chemicals
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree in related technical field
• 2 years of proven Maintenance Supervisor experience
• Experience in welding, metal fabrication, milling machines, and electrical work
