We are looking for an entry-level Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our stable and busy Beverage company in Fullerton. The A/R clerk ensures the company receives payments for goods and services and records these transactions accordingly. This role requires the candidate to be organized and have a keen eye for detail to spot any issues that may arise.

Duties:
- Responsible for daily cash application (i.e. checks, credit cards, wire), billing/payment issues as well as daily/monthly closing and reconciliation of AR.
- Credit processing and evaluation of new customers by performing credit checks and obtaining. necessary information for credit approval, updating credit limits, daily review and account monitoring of customer limits, and preempting problems/issues.
- Responsible for collections of delinquent customer accounts, as well as assisting in the placement of accounts to collections, handling customers' inquiries, and reconciliations.
- Identifies payment discrepancies and initiates dispute resolution process; performs follow-up procedures as needed.
- Maintain accounts in current status, contacting customer/salesman for collection/reconciliation.
- Closeout credit Card transactions daily.
- Maintain accurate customer files.
- Perform special projects/assignments as needed by management.
- Assist in daily order/invoice filing.
- Prepare check deposits.
- Cross-train/assist in other departments as needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- 2 years of Accounts Receivable or Collections experience.
- Requires knowledge of basic accounting principles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Skills in oral and written communications.
- Ability to be flexible, able to meet various deadlines.
- Knowledge of Sage software is a PLUS.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
