Job Description
- Assist with debugging and correcting requests in the ECC on-premise environment.
- The consultants covering different areas of SAP ABAP custom interfaces and forms development and support from HR, Finance, and Budget departments as well as workbench support for the Client’s SAP support team. All requests to the consulting firm must come from a member of the SAP Support Team.
- The identified expert will provide the required support for analyzing issues, identifying solutions, estimating effort and suggesting best practices.
- This resource will be responsible for task management, progress/status reporting and resource management.
- The consultants will ensure timely quality delivery and will periodically review their work performance with the named lead of the client.
- Review all development work requests and provide a description of the work that is required to resolve the request or issue
- Provide estimates regarding the time required to complete the development assignment.
- Work with the SAP team to prioritize the work requests
- Work with the SAP team members on problem resolution, testing and user acceptance.
- Complete any ABAP workbench tasks, including but not limited to forms enhancements or new development as well as provide troubleshooting if any corrections are needed.
- Review and correct any existing workflow concerns or provide documentation regarding the issue and recommended corrections.
- Implement any manual ABAP corrections that are needed if an SAP OSS note or patch requires it.
- Using the ABAP workbench tools to troubleshoot, create, or enhance any reports, forms, interfaces, etc. that are requested via the Client’s ITSM work order system. This includes any request as it relates to Web Dynpro Applications, function modules, classes, methods, and any other workbench support.
- Work with the FI, HR, and Budget business analysts to understand any requirements to successfully complete the needed work.
