Growing industrial manufacturer is looking for a Director of Operations to add to their team. This person will report directly to the CEO. This is a hands-on position in a small business environment. We are seeking an experienced, well-rounded individual to provide hands-on leadership, management, and optimization of manufacturing process and instill systems for efficient, high-quality production.
Principal duties:
· Oversight of production / inventory & purchasing / engineering departments
· Development of product and end-user application expertise, handling of customer inquiries
· Hands-on diagnosis and problem solving of manufacturing challenges
· Develop high quality supply chain and manage inventory to ensure efficient, on-time delivery (MRP)
· Oversee and project manage new product development initiatives
· Develop and maintain assembly and test documentation, including BOMs, and detailed work instructions
Requirements:
At least 7 years in an industrial manufacturing environment
Ability to help develop and execute strategic plans
Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions and mechanical drawings.
Inventory Management with ERP/MRP
Well-organized with an ability to identify problems and resolve quickly.
Self-starter with attention to detail. Reliable and dependable.
Positive and results oriented attitude.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
