Accounting

Summary/Objective

We have a full-time accounting position available. Knowledge of accounting principles, Excel experience, and communication skills are a must.

Preference will be given to applicants with accounting degrees, however, on the job experience will be considered. We offer a competitive salary & benefits. Pay range will depend on qualifications and skill sets the person brings to the job.

General:

· Must have a solid understanding of accounting.

· Must be proficient in Excel.

· Must be able to accurately and effectively process high volumes of work in a timely manner.

· Must be able to meet deadlines.

· Must be able to multi-task in a busy office environment.

· Consistently represents the company in a manner consistent with its values and beliefs.

· Professional courtesy and good communication skills are a must.

· Must effectively communicate with all managers/supervisors and related team members.

· Superior customer service for both internal and external customers.

Specific:

· Accurately processes all company payables to ensure transactions are coded to the correct company and cost center

· Accurately process accounts receivables

· Account reconciliation

· Accurately maintain inventories

· Prepare and post journal entries

· Prepares and maintains various excel spreadsheets or inventories as assigned by CFO

Leadership:

· Must exercise proper judgement

· Must maintain confidentiality in all matters

· Holds people accountable to get accurate and timely information. This includes notifying managers when information is not being provided accurately or timely.

· Ability to manage their time effectively.

Safety:

· Fully understands team’s fire plan and follows company’s general safety rules and guidelines.

Team Work:

· Consistently demonstrates the ability to work with others inter-dependently.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
