Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Admissions Director and Business Development Lead to spearhead our admissions process and drive our community outreach efforts. This pivotal role serves as a primary point of contact for all patient admissions, handling phone calls from potential clients and conducting extensive outreach within the community, including collaborations with other treatment providers. We are a small business, so this is a dual Admissions and Business Development role, rather than being just a call center manager or just an on the road position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary contact for admissions, ensuring a seamless and responsive patient intake process.
• Implement effective lead generation strategies tailored to the behavioral health sector.
• Engage in active community outreach and maintain robust relationships with key stakeholders such as drug courts, step-down programs, and other treatment facilities to ensure a steady flow of patient referrals.
• Ensure full compliance with HIPAA, 43 CFR Part 2, and Anti-Kickback statutes in all admission activities.
• Supervise and support a team of two members who assist with the administrative aspects of the admission process, including conducting pre-admission assessments.
• Foster a culture of urgency to facilitate same-day entry for patients into the program.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business development specifically within the substance use disorder treatment sector.
• Proven track record of successful lead generation and community outreach in the behavioral health field.
• Thorough understanding of regulatory compliance related to patient admissions, including HIPAA, 43 CFR Part 2, and Anti-Kickback statutes.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of motivational interviewing and intervention to help guide treatment decision.
• Understanding of insurance including both Medicaid and commercial insurance plans.
• Strong organizational skills and a sense of urgency, with an emphasis on facilitating rapid program entry for patients.
