What are the responsibilities and job description for the Analyst - Real Estate position at Confidential?
Company: Growth-oriented real estate investment and management firm focusing on the acquisition of self-storage facilities across the country. (Currently 12 properties, 20 by 2023)
The asset management analyst will work directly with the principals of the firm and will be expected to coordinate work product across the asset management, investing, capital development, and accounting functions of the company. The position’s responsibilities include:
- Build, update, and maintain asset level underwriting models to track performance, expected returns, valuation, buy/sell analysis, and KPIs.
- Develop and maintain asset management presentations for principals and investors showing monthly, quarterly, and year-end performance vs. underwriting.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis for management as requested.
- Be first point of contact for property managers. This will also entail periodic property visits to stay on-top of facility operations.
- Assist in the closing process for all transactions relating to domain, utility, and contract services transfers as well the decision to keep current property manager and/or on-boarding a new property manager.
- Assist in preparation of marketing materials for capital development.
- Monitoring market and submarket fundamentals.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field with strong academic credentials.
- 2 years of related finance experience (accounting, real estate, banking, etc.)
- High level proficiency in Microsoft Office Professional Suite, specifically in Excel and Power Point.
- Detail oriented with an ability to manage multiple tasks often in a confidential nature.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Interact with a wide range of parties, including property managers, regional manages, sellers,
- investors, vendors, title companies, etc.
- Team player with a coachable and professional attitude.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
