Property Management Specialist/Property Manager
Starting Salary Range: $55,000-65,000 depending on experience.
Farson’s Management Company is seeking an Apartment Complex Manager for 170 units of Government Subsidized Affordable Housing serving tenants with low income.
Office hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Degree in Business Administration preferred.
Applicants with equivalent experience in related field will be considered.
Ideal candidate will possess experience with or knowledge of:
- HUD requirements
- Housing certifications
- Property Management software
- Contract bidding
- Basic accounting skills
- Microsoft Outlook
- And have excellent organizational skills
- Managing staff members
Duties include:
- Managing 170 low rent apartments
- Uphold day to day operations of agency
- Implement and enforce all requirements set forth by HUD and agency
- Report submission to HUD Offices and Iowa Finance Authority
- Maintain office and maintenance departments
- Supervise and direct onsite staff and contractors
- Keep excellent tenant and applicant files
- Perform basic monthly accounting duties
- Leasing of units
- Monthly payroll and quarterly reports
- And bidding contracts.
Employment is contingent upon passing a background check and drug test.
Applicant is to live within reasonable distance for quick response in case of emergency.
