Position Summary:
The Assistant General Manager (AGM) plays a critical role in supporting the General Manager (GM) in the day-to-day operations of the hotel. This position ensures the smooth and efficient running of the hotel, maintaining high standards of customer service, overseeing staff, and ensuring guest satisfaction. The AGM will assist in financial management, operational procedures, and team leadership, ensuring the hotel meets its goals for profitability and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management:
- Assist the GM in overseeing the hotel's daily operations.
- Ensure all departments (front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, food and beverage) run smoothly.
- Implement and monitor standard operating procedures to ensure efficiency and consistency.
- Guest Services:
- Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction by addressing and resolving guest complaints and inquiries promptly.
- Ensure all guest services are executed at the highest standard.
- Oversee guest check-in and check-out procedures to ensure a seamless experience.
- Financial Management:
- Assist the GM in managing budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Monitor financial performance and help identify areas for cost savings and revenue enhancement.
- Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported.
- Staff Management:
- Support the GM in recruiting, training, and developing hotel staff.
- Oversee employee performance, provide feedback, and implement disciplinary measures when necessary.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Marketing and Sales:
- Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote the hotel.
- Work with the sales team to maximize room occupancy and revenue.
