Large, single-location, new car dealer located in Northern Virginia, is seeking an experienced Automotive Accounting Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for the processing of the daily banking transactions, maintaining schedules, as well as assisting the accounting team with various projects as needed.
We are only considering candidates with previous automotive accounting experience. CDK experience is strongly preferred, but not required.

Duties:
- Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering and sorting documents and related information.
- Processes deposits daily
- Maintains accounting ledgers by posting account transactions daily.
- Maintains floorplan to remain in compliance.
- Resolves accounting discrepancies by investigating documentation; then posting any corrections and/or adjustments.
- Verifies accounts by reconciling statements and transactions.
- Maintains financial historical records by scanning accounting documents.
- Maintains financial security by following internal accounting controls.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Financial Software & Excel Experience Required
- Automotive Accounting / CDK experience
- Administrative Writing Skills
- Organization, Data Entry, and General Math Skills
