Calling all barbers, beauticians, hair braiders and locticians! A new shop in the South Suburbs is open and looking for talent. Come make this your new home and show off your talents and skills in cuts, braids, or other hairstyle techniques. Reasonable and affordable booth rent.
All forms of experience welcome. Even students! License preferred. Open to part-time and full-time chair spots.
Duties:
- Perform a variety of beauty treatments, including haircuts, hair styling, and hair coloring.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction.
- Upsell products and services to clients.
- Apply makeup for special occasions or events.
- Perform eyelash extensions and eyebrow shaping.
- Offer hair threading services.
- Assist with front desk duties such as answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and handling payments.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Experience:
- Previous experience as a barber/ beautician or in a similar role is preferred.
- Proficient in various beauty techniques and treatments.
- Knowledge of retail sales and upselling techniques.
- Ability to mentor and train junior beauticians.
