Automotive Accounting Payable and Receivable Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Examine paperwork for accuracy and conformity to specified requirements
• Verify acceptance of the title in the state for which it is filed
• Confirm accurate VIN number, odometer reading and releases of liens and that titles contain no alterations
• Resolve titling issues through interaction with customers, dealers, and regulatory agencies
• Maintain knowledge of current accounting regulations as they relate to vehicles and interpret regulations in each state for which the vehicles are processed
• Run outstanding title reports, review, and contact sellers regarding outstanding titles
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Automotive Accounting Payable and Receivable Clerk Requirements

• ADP/CDK DMS experience preferred
