Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced and highly efficient Bookkeeper to join our established law firm. The ideal candidate should thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess excellent organizational skills, and be a strong team player. They must have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, a professional appearance, and a work ethic. The ability to multitask effectively is essential.
Responsibilities:
· Maintain the General Ledger and ensure accuracy of financial records.
· Establish accounts and post financial transactions, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
· Prepare deposits in Trust Accounts.
· Disburse and reconcile entries in Trust Accounts, and review settlement statements.
· Enter cash receipts into Operating Accounts, upload information into the Positive Pay/Fraud Manager banking portal, and submit ACH transfers.
· Contribute to the team's effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
Minimum requirements include:
- Associates/Bachelors Degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- CPA is a plus
- 2-3 years minimum bookkeeping experience
- Quickbooks
