What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bookkeeping Purchasing Logistics position at Confidential?
General bookkeeping of two separate but streamlined companies. We have 5 sales people who sell 3 product lines. We bring in raw materials and manufacture and package just a handful of products that are sold wholesale through distributors by phone and direct to consumers online.
This position encomapasses the complete bookkeeping of both companies along with basic payroll of less than ten employees. All purchasing and inventory management is rolled into the job, monitoring raw material inventory levels and ordering more when necessary.
You will also book and manage inbound and outbound freight with major carriers, and oversee the process by which the sales people enter sales orders into the system.
I am looking for someone with a solid bookkeeping background who also has some operational experience, such as purchasing and ideally some warehouse management, and shipping / logistics experience.
It is a position for someone ready to step up and own the role. It is important to me to add people to our team who bring a positive attitude, and who are all driven to push the company forward.
