What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Laboratory Scientist position at Confidential?
We are a fast-growing and high complexity laboratory that strives to expand. We provide practitioners powerful insights through definitive drug testing to help improve patient compliance and reduce the risk of diversion, addiction, and illicit use. As a CLS for the laboratory, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to our growing success. In this role, you’ll supervise the laboratory staff, assist with daily specimen testing, and ensure adherence to all compliance requirements.
Job Duties:
- Perform laboratory tests according to company policies and procedures
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain all laboratory equipment and instruments
- Maintain inventory of supplies, reagents, and materials
- Maintain the quality control results and the monthly Levy-Jennings charts.
- Follow up on the daily batch reporting, making sure all results are finalized and reported
- Prepare the Stock mix, calibrators, QCs, and Internal Standard
- Check and inspect all reagents
- Report any instrument problem and request service when needed
- Adhere to established processing timelines
- Other duties as assigned by management

Pay: $44.00 - $50.00 per hour
