We are looking for a CNC Team Lead for our 2nd and 3rd shift.
2nd: 2p-10:30p
3rd: 9p-5:30a
This position is in need of someone who is able to lead and motivate a team of CNC operators in meeting production goals and requirements throughout an 8 hour shift. Verifiable Leadership experience is required.
The team lead position requires someone who has the ability and knowledge to:
- Set up various styles of CNC machines by loading part unique fixtures, picking up zero points and setting tool heights.
- Troubleshooting any part quality issues and then taking next steps to fix the issue. (adjust tool heights, change tooling, adjust program, etc.)
- Keep all operators on shift full of parts at all times and run the shift as efficiently as possible.
Necessary Knowledge to have for this position:
- Familiar with Haas CNC Lathe & Mill
- Familiar with Brother CNC Mill
- Familiar with typical CNC measuring equipment (calipers, height gages, micrometers, CMM)
- Able to read a G&M code program
- Able to diagnose part quality issues/ minor mechanical issues and implement necessary action to resolve
Physical Requirements:
- Standing or walking up to 8 hours per day
- Bending and reaching into machines to change tools
- Lift CNC equipment with a helper up to 100 lbs.
