Real estate investment company seeking a Commercial Property Manager. Responsibilities include the overall physical and financial management of assigned properties, including site visits, scheduling maintenance work, maintaining positive tenant and vendor relations, and budgeting. Some travel is required. The successful candidate will have prior related experience, superior communication skills, intermediate to above average Excel skills, be organized and motivated, have a proven ability to work independently and contribute as a successful team member. A construction background would be beneficial. We are a fast-paced, strong growth, entrepreneurial company. We offer a business casual environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage commercial properties in Columbia, Lake Ozark, and surrounding areas.
- Market vacant units, plan and organize showings.
- Manage tenant check-in/check-out and ongoing support for a variety of commercial properties.
- Work closely with finance departments to track and analyze sales/rent, cost, and profit data.
- Analyze lease documents, ensure lease and insurance compliance, prepare notices and regular tenant communications.
- Maintain existing real estate files by handling correspondence related to leasing renewals & option periods, rent escalations, rent abatements, and contact information changes.
- CAM reconciliation & billing process.
- Pursue new property acquisitions.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Team player and ability, detail-oriented, organized, problem-solving, and eager to learn
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- 3-5 years of experience in commercial real estate and/or commercial property management.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Understanding of laws, guidelines, and best practices of Property management.
