Job Description:
One of Northeastern PA’s largest retail organizations has an immediate need for a Facility Maintenance Manager. The Facility Maintenance Manager oversees the day-to-day maintenance and construction activities within our facilities. The Facility Maintenance Manager ensures the proper functioning of several site locations building management control systems and coordinates maintenance and repair activities. This role requires technical expertise in commercial maintenance, the ability to interpret plans and specifications, coordination with third-party vendors, and compliance with OSHA and ADA safety regulations.
Job Responsibilities:
· Supervises the quality of work from the maintenance department & construction projects to ensure that all construction & repair tasks are performed correctly, efficiently, and effectively at all site locations.
· Oversee the repair and maintenance expenditures through regularly scheduled site visits and CMMS (computerized maintenance management system).
· Manages and reviews service contracts.
· Conducts and documents regular facilities inspections.
· Maintain accurate records and reports on maintenance activities, expenses, preventative maintenance, and equipment history.
-Oversee HVAC & refrigeration installments & maintenance.
· Checks completed work by vendors, contractors and maintenance staff.
· Recommends maintenance, mechanical, electrical, and facility design modifications.
-Ensure a working environment that is in compliance with safety policies at all site locations.
· Ensure compliance with OSHA and ADA regulations for a safe and accessible facility
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
· Must be at least 18 years of age.
· Degree in facilities management or a related field preferred.
· 3-5 years of hands-on experience working in facility maintenance or a similar role.
· Strong management, administrative and PC experience.
· Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations.
· Must have a valid and unrestricted Driver’s License
· Ability to push, pull, bend, lift and move up to 100 lbs.
· Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet the needs of the business.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
