What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Maintenance Person position at Confidential?
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Conducting routine maintenance and repairs of hotel facilities and equipment
- Planning and executing preventative maintenance programs to ensure the longevity of hotel assets
- Monitoring and controlling expenditure to ensure maintenance expenses are kept within budget
- Repainting walls, fixing broken furniture, fixing minor electrical issues and making faucets stop leaking
Experience:
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field
- Strong mechanical knowledge and skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and logic controllers
- Excellent customer service skills
- Leadership abilities to oversee maintenance projects
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks
- Flexibility to work on-call or during off-hours as needed
