What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Director position at Confidential?

At least ten and typically 15 years of experience. Ready organization for IT security audits or investigations. Manage security of network, systems, and enterprise information. Review the performance of IT systems to determine operating costs, productivity levels, and upgrade requirements. Build relationships with external IT vendors and service providers. Benchmark and make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure of IT systems.

Essential Job Functions

  • Responsible for all aspects of IT operations, including data architecture/integrity, on-premises infrastructure, cloud-based systems, and information security.
  • Work with Executive Leadership Team, Leaders, and Consultants to develop strategic roadmaps and tactical solutions for all critical systems.
  • Continually assess and improve technology and process tools to securely drive productivity, collaborative project management, and efficient organization-wide communication in a hybrid working environment.
  • Oversee cybersecurity protections.
  • Implement business intelligence and increase usage of metrics/analytics data in each department via implementation and use of dashboards.
  • Ensure staff has the technology tools and training needed to perform their duties efficiently and collaboratively, both on- and off-site.
  • Build redundancies by implementing a Subject Matter Expert program for relevant software platforms and disciplines.
  • Develop and lead a high-performing team to ensure reliable IT services and operations delivery.
  • Develop, manage, and track Departmental budget for IT.
  • Key contact for the company's technology vendors, including outsourced managed services providers and consultants.

Other Job Functions

  • Support the effective tracking and reporting of organization-wide metrics in collaboration with the leaders, and the Executive Team
  • Provides organization or enterprise-wide standard systems for designing and measuring work processes
  • Conscientiously follow company policies and practices and take care of the organizational property.
  • Other duties as assigned.

_ Knowledge, skills, and abilities required for this role: _

  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA a plus
  • Microsoft Cloud Certifications a plus, not required
  • 10 years of experience in Information Technology and systems, with five years in leadership
  • 5 years of Project Management
  • Experience with Salesforce or CRM technology
  • Experience developing and presenting strategic plans and budgets to executive leadership
  • Experience in managing outsourced vendors and consultants to fill skill gaps or project-based work delivery
  • Experience working with Stakeholders, Business Analysts, Project Managers, Vendors, and Technology teams
  • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations as they relate to IT in the Healthcare field, and HIPAA

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
