Responsibilities:
- Provide daily care and attention to animals in the kennel
- Feed, water, and exercise animals
- Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and common areas
- Administer medications and treatments as directed
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals and report any concerns to the supervisor
- Assist with bathing of animals as needed
Qualifications
- Ability to handle animals in a safe, calm and compassionate manner
- Knowledge of basic animal care practices
- Previous experience working with animals in a professional setting, such as a veterinary clinic, animal shelter is ideal, but not required
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $9.00 - $10.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
