Leasing Agent

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Leasing Agent. As a Leasing Agent, you will be responsible for assisting prospective tenants with finding and leasing properties. Responsibilities: - Conduct property tours for potential tenants and provide detailed information about available units - Assist prospective tenants with the application process, including collecting necessary documents and conducting background checks - Respond to inquiries from current and prospective tenants in a timely and professional manner - Maintain accurate records of all leasing activities, including tenant information, lease agreements, and move-in/move-out dates - Collaborate with property management team to ensure units are well-maintained and ready for move-in - Utilize property management software (OneSite) to track leasing activities and generate reports - Advertise available units through various channels, such as online listings and signage - Negotiate lease terms and conditions with prospective tenants - Stay up-to-date on market trends and pricing to effectively market available units Experience: - Previous experience in leasing or sales preferred - Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with tenants - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Proficient in data entry and record keeping - Knowledge of property maintenance processes and procedures - Familiarity with Section 8, LIHTC, and CMMS programs is a plus - Ability to handle conflict resolution in a professional manner If you are a motivated individual with a passion for real estate and providing exceptional customer service, we encourage you to apply for this position.
