Maintenance Technician
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team in Grand Forks, ND. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our apartment complexes, providing a safe and comfortable living environment for our residents.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as repairing plumbing systems, HVAC units, electrical fixtures, appliances, and general carpentry work.
- Perform preventive maintenance to ensure the longevity and efficiency of building systems and equipment.
- Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests and address any concerns in a courteous and professional manner.
- Complete work orders and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
- Assist in preparing vacant units for new residents by conducting thorough inspections, repairs, and cleaning.
- Maintain the grounds and common areas to uphold the property's overall appearance.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure the well-being of residents, staff, and property.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role, preferably in apartment or property maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance tasks.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot maintenance issues effectively.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to handle lifting, carrying, and manual labor.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to multitask, stay organized and meet deadlines.
