We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Medical Assistant for our practice in Northern Virginia. Must love working with kids and providing excellent patient care. Candidate must be outgoing, efficient, detail-oriented and be able to multitask. Willing to train the right candidate.
Job Responsibilities include:
- Greeting and room patients
- Taking vitals and checking and accurately documenting
- Administering and documenting vaccines and other medications
- Providing simple phone advice and patient follow-up
- Clerical work such as assisting with completing school forms, scanning documents, answering phone calls, and scheduling appointments.
- Cleaning and stocking exam rooms and other clinical areas
- Perform other assigned duties
Requirements:
- Prefer someone with experience in administering vaccines
- Excellent organizational and patient care abilities
- Strong team player
- Flexibility in hours
- High school diploma and medical assistant diploma required
- At least one year experience as a Medical Assistant (pediatric experience preferred)
Compensation: Pay is based on experience.
